PERFORMING LENS is a new European collaborative project with partners from Austria, Bulgaria and France, co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme.

Bringing together science fiction, performing arts and scientific research, the project explores emerging technologies and their impact on our future through theatre, opera and multimedia performance.

​

Three new productions will address AI and data ethics, biotechnology and future medicine, and climate technologies and possible futures.

​

Through performances, workshops, conferences and artistic residencies, PERFORMING LENS connects theatre and opera makers, musicians, digital artists and researchers with scientists, creating space for artistic experimentation, exchange and new perspectives.
